As for foam filters, here is another comparison of filters: [ http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2000/01/airfilters/index.shtml ] and there was also one conducted by a Japanese magazine that compared Apexi, K&N (oiled cotton gauze), HKS (foam), Blitz (SS mesh), etc. Do a search, it was posted several times.
